Even a website cannot be developed straightaway without designing a user interface. The designing workshop explores every nook and cranny of Photoshop and by the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to design masterpieces starting from simple grayscales.

MATLAB (Matrix LABoratory) is a widely used numerical computing environment, a fourth generation programming language, whose applications transcend the borders of engineering. It makes programming easier, especially to solve numerical problems. From being a tool for basic graph plotting and data crunching to complex tasks like Digital Signal Processing and Embedded Simulations, MATLAB is one of the most powerful software around. In 2012, the IEEE gave Cleve Moler, creator of MATLAB, its annual Computer Pioneer Award “For improving the quality of mathematical software, making it more accessible and creating MATLAB.” With this workshop in the IEEE DTU TechWeek, we will start from scratch to advanced functionality of MATLAB.

Very-large-scale integration (VLSI) is the process of creating integrated circuits by combining thousands of transistors into a single chip. VLSI began in the 1970s when complex semiconductor and communication technologies were being developed. The microprocessor is a VLSI device. In this course we will cover all the important topics of VLSI Technology such as VLSI design flow, ICs, MOS transistors, Fabrication technology etc. as well as HDL programming language i.e. VHDL and Verilog. We shall cover the basic programming concepts of VHDL for designing the sequential circuits as well as combination circuits.
